Forrest Beach is a beautiful beach side community in north Queensland, located 1.5hrs drive from Townsville, in the shire of Hinchinbrook.
The Forrest Beach community services include a a great primary school and Surf Lifesaving Club and active Lions Club, Local Progress Association and QCWA.
Local shops and facilities include a Beach Front Hotel, grocery, hairdresser, chemist, takeaway, real estate, newsagent and post office. There are also vehicle repairs, welding services and storage sheds and many other trade services.
Our primary school includes a community resource room, where you can use computers and the internet and meeting facilities. Our new multi purpose hall is available for sports and arts use.
